TSG is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). A2LA is one of three internationally recognized laboratory accreditation bodies in the United States. A2LA accreditation is required for laboratories conducting calibration and testing QS 9000 automotive manufacturers.
The laboratory accreditation process is much more rigorous than ISO 9000 registration, since it requires not only that the laboratory have a quality system meeting the requirements of ISO 9000 and perform testing & calibration that meets ISO 17025, but must also demonstrate competence in the specific areas of testing for which it is accredited.

In 2003, TSG was awarded the prestigious Ford Motor Company Q1 award. The Q1 designation has traditionally been awarded only to Ford’s production part suppliers who have consistently demonstrated quality and excellence in their relationship with Ford, have maintained high levels of performance, and have exhibited a continuous improvement mindset. In 2002, Ford expanded the Q1 program, renaming it “Q1 2002,” to also focus on selected service suppliers. Only suppliers whose services have a high impact on customer satisfaction and who meet strategic elements defined by each Ford Purchasing Department have been targeted for Q1 2002.
TSG is also a member of A3CA in the Asian Pacific market. We are registered members of the Testing Inspection Calibration Certification Accreditation services in APEC region (TIC-CA).
