Evaporative emission and complete fuel system/ component testing specialists

industries

TSG originated as a test services provider for automotive fuel systems. Over time, we have expanded our services to include any fuel system or components associated with boats, recreation vehicles, lawn equipment, or other small engines.

Government regulations for monitoring evaporative emissions are controlled by the U.S. EPA and the California Air Resources Board (CARB). TSG remains an active participant in all activities that transpire from the regulating authorities.

Automotive

The automotive industry continues to be the leader in evaluating and administering fuel emissions test regulations. Our core expertise was built around auto evaporative emissions and fuel system testing for the automotive industry.

Marine

The personal watercraft and boating industry is another source of engine usage. Both inboard and outboard motors have several of the same emissions and fuel issues as automobiles. TSG understands the regulations and what is needed to test these fuel systems.

Recreation

Whether its ATV (all terrain vehicles), waverunners, dirt bikes or snowmobiles, testing and evaluation of the components associated to fuel requires a skilled and experienced team of technicians.

Small Engine

Small engines found in lawn equipment such as weed whippers, lawn mowers, tractors, and edgers all contain fuel for operational use. TSG can provide durability and emissions testing for all your small engine needs.

Portable fuel containment

The ARB Portable Fuel Container (PFC) regulations are an important concept in efforts to improve our air quality. PFC's, also known as gas cans, are used to fill a variety of equipment including lawnmowers, vehicles and personal watercraft. TSG tests PFCs to ensure that spillage and diurnal emissions are minimized or eliminated.

Large spark ignition

TSG can provide services for off-road large spark-ignition (LSI) equipment greater than 25 horsepower, including farm, construction, and industrial equipment, powered by gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other alternate fuels. Typical applications that use LSI engines include forklifts, specialty vehicles, airport service vehicles, large turf care equipment, portable generators, and a wide array of other agricultural, construction, and general industrial equipment.
