NVH measurement systemTesting Services Group, LLC, is pleased to announce the addition of noise and vibration measurement capabilities. The Company recently completed construction of a new semi-anechoic test cell in its facilities at 811 Whitney Drive in Lapeer, Michigan. The new test cell features an intrinsically safe electrical environment, making it suitable for NVH measurements on fuel components and small fuel systems during operation with fuel.
Commenting on the new service, Mr. Scott Hartel, Executive Vice President and an owner of TSG, remarked, “We are very pleased to be able to offer this capability to our customers. We have had a number of requests from clients to perform noise measurements on their fuel pumps and modules while operating under normal conditions. This investment addresses those needs. To the best of our knowledge, TSG is the only independent lab in Michigan equipped to safely perform these types of measurements today.”
The background noise floor in the room is typically 24 dB(A) to 26 dB(A). A wide range of data presentation is available, including octave and 1/3 octave bands, narrow band and waterfall for both vibration and acoustical measurements. For additional information please contact TSG.
